Scholarships are just one of several financial aid options available to graduating seniors. In addition to this guide, students should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which opened on December 1, to qualify for grants and loans. While there is no official deadline for the FAFSA, students are encouraged to submit their application as early as possible for the best access to available funds.

LETTER OF RECOMMENDATIONS:
Letters of recommendation are a critical component of many college, scholarship, and job applications. These letters offer insight into your character, work ethic, and accomplishments from someone who knows you well—whether it’s a counselor, teacher, coach, mentor, or employer. A strong recommendation can highlight unique qualities, skills, and achievements that might not stand out in grades or test scores alone.
Want an awesome letter of recommendation? Make it easy for your counselor, teacher , or mentor by giving them a brag sheet! A brag sheet is a quick list of your accomplishments, activities, and goals that helps them write a letter that really shows off how amazing you are.
