About Me!

Hello everyone! 

My name is Kelley Senter and I am so happy to be your PE teacher at Bluebonnet Elementary! This is my seventh year at BBE, my second year in the PE program. I spent four years teaching Special Education, one year as the PE Aide. I have always loved physical education and decided to go back to my physical education roots, and to follow my passion. 

I was raised in Lockhart, where I attended Kindergarten-12th grade.  I attended Abilene Christian University, in Abilene, Texas and graduated, in 2001, with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. I moved to Hutto after graduation, and lived in the area for 17 years. It was here that I was PE Aide for five years. My family and I moved back to Lockhart in 2018, and we are here to stay! I look forward to building relationships with all of you, as well as the love of sports and being active!

I am married to my college sweetheart, and we have three children; a college freshman, a high school Junior, and a second grader. 

I enjoy being outside in the sunshine, running, swimming, camping, gardening, and going to the lake and the beach. I live in the woods, on a farm, with my family, and my menagerie of animals.

¡Mi nombre es Kelley Senter y estoy muy feliz de ser su maestra de educación física en la escuela primaria Bluebonnet! Este es mi sexto año en BBE, mi segundo año en el programa de educación física. Pasé cuatro años enseñando educación especial, un año como asistente de educación física. Siempre me ha encantado la educación física y decidí volver a mis raíces de educación física y seguir mi pasión. 

Crecí en Lockhart, donde asistí desde jardín de infantes hasta el grado 12.  Asistí a la Abilene Christian University, en Abilene, Texas, y me gradué, en 2001, con una Licenciatura en Ciencias del Ejercicio. Me mudé a Hutto después de graduarme y viví en la zona durante 17 años. Fue aquí donde fui asistente de educación física durante cinco años. Mi familia y yo regresamos a Lockhart en 2018, ¡y estamos aquí para quedarnos! ¡Espero construir relaciones con todos ustedes, así como el amor por los deportes y estar activo!

Estoy casado con mi novia de la universidad y tenemos tres hijos; un estudiante de primer año de universidad, un estudiante de secundaria y un estudiante de segundo grado. 

Disfruto estar al aire libre bajo el sol, correr, nadar, acampar, hacer jardinería e ir al lago y a la playa. Vivo en el bosque, en una granja, con mi familia y mi colección de animales.
