This course is a survey of US History, including events, individuals, and concepts with an emphasis placed on the 17th-20th centuries. Students will consider how the United States has incorporated a variety of people and cultures, how people and government responded to change, and how America has affected the rest of the world. Skills involving analysis, composition, discussion, listening, and critical thinking will be utilized and developed regularly throughout the course.
