High School

My best subject in high school was English. I always loved getting lost in a book and sharing my thoughts through my writing. During my elementary school years, I struggled with these subject. But through help from numerous teachers, I was able to overcome my challenges with reading and writing, making them my best subject by the time I was in high school. I am forever grateful for the help that my teachers gave me to have a better life.

My favorite subject in high school was History. During my sophomore year, I had the opportunity to learn from one of the most incredible teachers ever, Mr. Tomasini. He inspired my passion and curiosity regarding the history and society. That would end up changing my life and setting me up for a career in education. I wouldn't realize my passion for teaching until years later. I will forever value the lessons he taught my as a teacher, coach, and mentor.

Since I was a sophomore, I ran for the Varsity Track Team. I competed in the 300m, 300m Hurdles, 400m, and the 4x400m Relay.
