Welcome to Room 401! I'm Mr. Marx and I am excited to be here at Mesa Middle School! This is my first year at Mesa, and fifth year teaching overall. Prior to arriving at Mesa I taught 8th grade math in Paso Robles and 7th grade math in Garden Grove.
This year I will be teaching Math 7 as well as Intervention for 7th grade. I will also be coaching 8th grade volleyball for both girls and boys. I am excited to work our new Hawks!
I went to University of Oregon (Go Ducks!), then received my teaching credential at Cal State Northridge. I am originally from Burbank, CA, and moved up to the Central Coast 2 years ago.
When I am not teaching I enjoy playing volleyball, spending time with my wife and our dogs, playing video games, and watching football.
