Jessica Butelo

My name is Dr. Jessica Butelo and I am the School Psychologist at Judkins Middle School. I grew up in the Bay Area and attended undergrad at Whitworth University in Spokane, Wasgington. Here, I received a BA in Fine Arts and a second BA in Psychology. After graduating, I was accepted to an Americorps program called Teach For America, where I was placed teaching 7th grade math in Miami, Florida. The purpose of the program is to expand opportunity for low-income students, and provide all students with an equitable education. After my two-year term, I attended University of the Pacific in Stockton, California. Here, I received my Ph.D. in Educational Psychology. Following graduation, I moved to San Luis Obispo and began my career as a School Psychologist and University Professor. I have worked at various schools within Lucia Mar Unified School District and am extremely excited to work at Judkins Middle School this year! I have a passion for working with adolescents, and ensuring that they are supported both academically and social-emotionally.

Welcome back!!!! I'm so excited for the school year. It’s going to be a great one! I've been a Speech-Language Pathologist for 19 years, 9 of which have been on the Central Coast. I'm originally from Bakersfield, but now live in Arroyo Grande with my husband Anthony and two children Kayla and Gavin. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, being outdoors, and staying active

Hi! I'm Erica, your family advocate. I can help students get connected to resources like clothing, shoes, or school supplies. I can connect families with food, financial assistance, along with many other community agencies. This is my 4th year in the Lucia Mar Unified School District, and my 2nd at Judkins. I love being a Panther!

I work with students to provide mentoring/counseling services on an individual or group basis. Currently those services are offered virtually.

Sienna Robertson

Hello!

I’m Sienna, your Student Support Counselor here on campus (and virtually!). I work with students individually and in groups where we build coping skills, work on healthy relationships, discuss difficult events, and figure out how to make it through middle school! I used to attend Judkins myself, so I am excited to get to know you as a fellow panther.
