Creative Choir Collaborations
Singing virtually presented many challenges in 2020 but the best gift of all is that we've learned *NEW* ways to collaborate virtually, investigated incredible new software, explored songwriting and other awesome projects that have allowed us to become more well rounded musicians and people! Music has provided us solace during these crazy times and choir was no exception! From masked singer FlipGrid, to songwriting, virtual recordings, Soundtrap collaborations, and special guest artists, we have had an exhilarating and uplifting year of music making!

“Holding Out For A Hero” - Glee Version

This is a very upbeat song that will definitely get you on your feet. It is a fun duet that will make you want to dance. We have been performing duets together since Freshman year and we CAN’T WAIT to kill it for our last year:)))

To the tune of “It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas,” this pandemic parody is a fun twist on the Christmas classic. Hopefully you will be able to relate to some of the lines in this fun song!
“O’ Come All Ye Faithful” - John Francis Wade
Sharon Anil: Sharon and her sister recorded an audio of them singing the song along with a karaoke track and edited those with the app WeVideo. Enjoy!!
“Winter Wonderland” - Johnny Mathis
Noah Archibald, Juliana Ciarrocchi, Gerry Gonzales, Fernanda Gushi, Ilana Hausen, Jake Lonie, Poojitha Pamulapati, Dylan Thomas, and Phillip Stoianov. An amazing rendition of an amazing song with 9 amazing students!!! We hope you enjoy it!!! :) #winterwonderful
“Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas”
Cooper Arthur: I picked the song “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas” because it has always been one of my favorite holiday songs. It has been around since I was a kid and I remember listening to that song with my grandpa around the Christmas season and it always brings good memories.

We collaborated to create the song on Soundtrap, and Kate sang it.
"Disney Parody"
Alyssa Avington: Take a trip to the Disney Parks! Many different songs from Disney rides made on Noteflight. Have a magical time listening to these great songs !!

“Light of the World” - Lauren Daigle
Lauren Cheiken and Gerry Gonzales: Gerry and Lauren filmed themselves singing and edited their voices together through IMovie. This is one of their many duets. We hope you enjoy it!
"Snow Day" An ORIGINAL Song by Izzy!!

Izzy wrote the song on a snow day and Lilly learned it so we could sing it together and combine everything on Soundtrap!
“Cras Nativitas Est” - Dan Gentry
Dan Gentry wrote this song and recorded himself singing it. It's about the story of Christmas.
“Perfect” - Ed Sheeran
Dan Gentry recorded himself singing and strumming Perfect on his "guitando" (made up word by Dan).
Niamh Healy and Yuki Li: We picked holiday songs that exist in a major key and changed them into a minor key. We recorded our voices on Soundtrap. Yuki’s cats (Sesame and Yue) make a guest appearance and dance around as the music plays :)
“Snow Slumber” - Anna Ilto
Anna wanted to compose a short song so she used Noteflight to compose it.
“Sarah and Leah’s Holiday Rap” - Leah Levitan and Sarah Rosala
Leah Levitan and Sarah Rosala: We created a fun and chaotic holiday rap using iMovie. Enjoy the mess :)
Jake Linder wrote a parody of “Let It Snow” about quarantine.
“To Love Someone Else” - Avery Lynch
Adilya Makharova: I sang this song late at night in the car, feeling a lot of vibes and decided to choose this song because it is a beautiful piece of music. I hope you enjoy :)
“Wondering” - Julia Lester and Olivia Rodrigo
Adilya Makharova and Trisha McElhaugh: We used Soundtrap to record this song from HSMTMTS. If you want, keep replaying the bridge (the best part)!!! We popped off.

Adilya Makharova and Kendall Thayakaran: This song is upbeat, fun, full of good vibes, you will love it! Get up and start dancing because you will not be able to sit still when you hear this!! Just trying to make our One Direction boys proud.

Julia Sturges and Kendall Thayakaran: We used soundtrap to record and added some adlibs just for fun. Feliz Navidad is definitely a top 10 Christmas song.

Isabella Thomas: I used iMovie to make a fun COVID-19 parody of a classic Christmas song with a lyric video too!
