Notes
- Take notes as you are reading your information. If your teacher prefers one style of note-taking, use that (most prefer annotated notes). Otherwise, play around with what note-taking method works for you, maybe a bullet journal, the Cornell method, mind maps written or online.
- Keep a works cited page running in Google so that you have a current list of all your resources and you can easily find them later.
Paraphrasing and Plagiarism
- Be aware of paraphrasing a source, and make sure it is done correctly. Read the material, take notes, then put it in your own words. Make sure to double check that you did not use the same words or structure.
