Before becoming a teacher, I attended West Chester University for a Bachelor's Degree in Communications.  I have worked for Walt Disney World, Buena Vista Pictures Distribution, the WB17 (now myPHL17) and FOX29.

Two years later, I decided to leave the field of Communications and pursue a Master's Degree in Elementary Education with a Certification in Middle School English.  During my time at Gwynedd-Mercy College, I worked at a daycare in Elkins Park, PA.  I student taught second grade at Simmons Elementary School and sixth grade at Keith Valley Middle School in the Hatboro-Horsham School District.  

This will be my 20th year of teaching in the Lower Moreland Township School District.  At Pine Road Elementary School, I taught kindergarten for 3 years.  From there, I taught third grade for 8 years.  This will be my ninth year of teaching fifth grade and my second year at Murray Avenue School. 

In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family traveling and experiencing new places.  I am married with two sons - Davis and Brannan.
