The All-State Ensembles and the Large Ensemble Assessment are LMEA sponsored events. 

The District IV Honor Bands are sponsored by the District IV Band Directors Association. 

District iv HONOR BAND ASSOCIATION

The purpose of this organization is to organize and conduct the District IV

Honor Bands and to provide the opportunity for all students to audition and participate in one of two middle school honor bands or two high school honor bands.  Students of LMEA members who actively participate in auditions, meetings, and the Honor Band weekend are eligible to audition.  ​Additionally, if the student attends a school that has a band program, he or she MUST be a member of the band at the school.
