This book is called the Phantom tollbooth. The author, Norton Juster,is a author who writes many children books.
One thing I like about this book is that it's a mystery genre and it's very interesting. One thing I didn't like about the part of the book I have read is that he's the main character and basically the only character, and I think if they added more characters with different parts in the story that it would make the story better.
If I had to write a brief summary it would be that there's a kid who lives with his parents and he doesn't really have many friends. One day he went up to the attoc and found a tollbooth and found a huge animal with it.This tollbooth can send you to a different world and time of year just like time travel.Milo, the main character, goes to an island of conclusions and he goes with a watch dog named Tock. Their quest was to rescue Rhyme and Reason from the island of conclusions. That's my brief summary of the story

Becoming Brianna by Terri Libenson is a must read book. In this review you will read a brief summary of the book and what I liked about the book. Thanks for reading!
This story is about a girl who is going to have a bat mitzvah. If you read some of Terri Libenson other books you will recognize some of the characters. This book has to parts that switch back and forth. One section is the past which keeps getting less and less far away and by the end of the book it turns into the "now" section. The now section is comic unlike the past section. So back to the plot Brianna is getting ready for her bat mitzvah she doesn't even really want however there are a lot of challenges before she can have it. Such as learning a speech, learning a new language, people hearing rumors about it, and having a conflict with her best friend.
I love how Terri Libenson writes her books you never get bored. It helps having some parts of the book comic and some parts just writing. Becoming Brianna is a really good book for middle school kids because there are things we can all relate to. Over all you should read Becoming Brianna.

In the book" Little Town On The Prairie" by Laura Ingalls Wilder it's about the life back then and characters that live there. The main character is called Laura, she started getting a job when she was really young. She wanted to earn more money and let her sister go to collage. She is a really caring and hardworking character. For example, when she got home with the money she earn that day she wanted to give it to her mom and not leave it for herself. Her mom did tell her to leave some for herself but she didn't want to. She wanted to give that money to her mom so her mom don't have to work so hard and use that money for some of the house hold stuff. She cares about her mom and family. This book is mostly about their life time back then.
Something that I did like about this book is how I can learn some of the things that they do back then, and it's fun reading it. It is really different from the things we do right now. And something that I didn't like about this book is that some of the chapter is kind of short. But that's only some part's. This is a pretty good book, and I do like it. "Little Town On The Prairie" by Laura Ingalls Wilder.

The book, "Internment" by Samira Ahmed was amazing. There was so much detail and emotion that it makes you feel almost as if you are right beside each character. The author makes the reader feel they have a strong connection/ bond to each character through the way they talk, think, and react to certain situations.
In the book it is a fictional story about what could be a real life event happening (it is now a real event happening in China to Muslims). The book to centered around Layla and her family which is a group of Muslims who were moved out of the blue to a new camp with new people knowing nothing about what the future led ahead. Layla was quick to making friends and connections around the camp to start he rebellion. Her and her friends are still figuring out the details but they know what the consequences would be if they got caught. She found a way to speak to her boyfriend who leads an important part to their protest/ escape. Layla has too big of a heart that she could never leave a person struggling behind, even strangers. This book is a 10/10.

The name of my book is Shiver. It's written by Maggie Stiefvater and is about basically werewolves. If you get bitten by one you also become a wolf, and you can change back and forth between human and wolf depending on what season it is. Human is summer, and wolf is winter. There's two main characters.
Grace and Sam are the two main characters of the book. Grace is a regular human, but has come into contact with Sam only has a wolf. Sam is the werewolf, and him and his pack of werewolves were basically eating Grace when she was 8. Sam didn't eat Grace because he didn't want to. Grace remembered that, so then years later the pack of wolves decided it bite somebody in Grace's school, causing them to be hunted.
This is only the first few chapters, and I already like it. I like the suspense and even the tiny bit of romance between grace and Sam. It's well written, and I would suggest you to read it too. It's not too short and not too long so it fits well.

I think that people that are into scary and thrilling things would like this book Fetch by Scott Cawthon because it has scary moments in each story and it has some thrills and suspense. This book and all of the other books of this series have 3 different stories in them. I am on the second book story two and I just finished that story. Basically what happened in the story was there was a boy and he thinks that his sister gets all the attention and gets everything she wants and at the boy's birthday party he and his sister go into a back storage room and find a big bear robot. They think it is ok so they leave. As soon as the boy opened his eyes when he woke up, he saw it out his window then the parents saw it and filed a report and closed the pizzeria forever. The reason why I like this book is because I used to play the video game that was based on this book and I used to play it all of the time and I like how the books have some storyline to the game as well as its own features.
I think that people that are not into scary and thrilling things wouldn't like this book because unlike many other stories and books there's storys don't all end with a happy ending for example in one story in the first book there was a girl who was the main character and she turned into a pile of junk and died and that is not a very good ending.
by Roald Dahl

The title is Charlie and the Glass Elevator. The author is Roald Dahl. I suggest you read the chocolate factory first since the great glass elevator is just a sequel to the chocolate factory. The beginning is just the glass elevator going to space, and the president mistaken them for people from another planet that's about to explode the space hotel. but charlie and the others was just visiting the hotel. but then they encounter knid and they had to run because the knid can eat them in a instant.
But now, other people have reached the hotel, they went in and many of them died. A few of them got away but the knid is tearing down the spaceship so they're basically screwed. That is as far as I got. as for what I like, I really like the action that is going on, like charlie and the other running away from the knid and knid attacking the astronaut and all that stuff. As for what I don't like, there aren't any because the book is really good, you should totally read it.

“Red Queen" is a story about a young girl who happens to bleed red.
Mare’s world is divided by one thing— blood. The color of your blood determines your place in society> Red and silvers are compete opposites. Silvers live in big houses and job with good pay. A common silver is a merchant, businessman, soldier, officer, shop owner, politician, land baron, artist or an intellectual. They have powers that they are able to use, and they fight each other for entertainment. A common red lives in poverty, the only job they may be capable of is sewing, or working for someone else. Mare meets a young boy who pulls a few tricks and gets her a job as a maid in a castle. Miraculously, she is in danger and her last resort is using a power she didn’t know she had, which turns her life around almost immediately.
This book is very likable if you are into drama and plot twists. Personally, I enjoyed the concept of living in a dystopian society and being able to break out of it. There are more books in the series that I will probably red after this one. The only thing one may not like is the characters themselves, which may or may not be made unlikable on purpose, seeing as it’s their nature.
