Welcome to the LISD Elementary Counseling Corner!
Meet our School Counselors!
Brandi Wooten Rogers, LES School Counselor
My name is Mrs. Rogers and I began my school counseling journey at Llano Elementary in 2021! I received my Bachelor of Arts in History from Tarleton State University and in 2018, I graduated from Liberty University with a Masters of Education in School Counseling. I taught high school English, Social Studies, and ESL for 14 years before moving into my current role at Llano Elementary. I love being a school counselor and I hope to empower students to be the best they can be.
I love to travel, but at heart, I am a Llano native and I love the Texas Hill Country! When I am not at school, I enjoy helping my family at the ranch and playing with my dogs. I also love to refinish furniture, read, cook, play guitar, crochet, and quilt.
I recently married my best friend on my family's beautiful property in Valley Spring! I will continue to use Wooten as well since most of our students have known me as Ms. Wooten. We have 2 energetic dogs, one of which has been recently trained to be a therapy dog.

I will update the page periodically with books and resources to help students deal with their different emotions and learning social skills.
