The National Honor Society (NHS) recognizes outstanding high school students in the areas of Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character. Lake Stevens NHS members promote academic success by volunteering in our tutoring program, strengthen the community through fundraising and donation drives, and act as leaders in the school by modeling strength of character. Requirements of the club include:
maintain a cumulative 3.5 GPA or above
official induction at our annual Induction Ceremony
$10 annual dues (waivers available by request)
attend quarterly member meetings (usually Fridays after school)
volunteer for club events at least 2 hours per semester
In February, eligible sophomores will receive an invitation to join based on 1st semester grades (cumulative GPA). Interested juniors and seniors may request an invitation prior to February.
