Mental Health challenges and substance use issues are sometimes co-occurring. Sometimes they are not. Many of Mr. Pitkin and/or Mrs. Hudson’s referrals come from the School Counselors. The Counseling Center staff work as a team to provide student assistance so that students can achieve social, emotional, behavioral, and academic success.

Substance Use Prevention and Intervention 

If you are looking, there is hope and help is available. Admitting to ourselves or even another human that we might need help with substance use can be pretty scary. We are here to listen and want you to find healthy ways to move forward. Mr. Pitkin is here to have confidential conversations with students and families as they work through stuff like this. He also can help find support outside of school too.
