On May 26, 2021, the Nuclear Power Institute came to Lorenzo De Zavala to announce that one of our WIT Jr members won the Clean SMARTS (cyberSecurity, Manufacturing, Radiation science, Technology, Success skills) Master Class Competition. All of our WIT Jr members completed the Clean SMARTS Master Class and earned their certificate of completion. One member submitted his project into the competition with feedback from his fellow members and won. 7th-grade student and WIT Jr member Arian Gutierrez won the state-wide secondary (6th-12th grade) competition. Congratulations Arian!!!
