Hello, I am Mrs. C. Salinas, current ACE Coordinator for Dr. Palmira Mendiola Elementary. I have been with La Joya ISD for 14 years. I was a 5th grade teacher for 11 years, and 3 years with our ACE program. I am passionate about supporting our ACE program and serving our students and community outside of the classroom. I truly enjoy helping students learn, grow, and succeed in a fun and nurturing environment that makes a positive impact on their lives every day.
The goal of the ACE Program at Dr. Palmira Mendiola Elementary:
The Mendiola Elementary ACE Program gives students the opportunity to participate in supplemental activities that focus on social, emotional and academic development. The ACE program at Mendiola offers Technology, Arts and Crafts, Sports and Culinary clubs to name a few. ACE strives to provide a safe and supportive environment for Mendiola Elementary students.
