Ryan Krueger--Department Leader and Teacher
Mrs. Sayen has been teacher in LPS for 15 years. She earned a B.A. (2009) in Education with minors in Child Development (ZA) and Special Education-Cognitive impairments (K-12) from Central Michigan University. She received her M.A. degree from Madonna University in the field of Educational Technology (2016). This is her second year teaching Project Lead the Way. Prior to becoming a PLTW teacher in 2023, Mrs. Sayen has taught in the classroom ranging from grades K-12 at Holmes Middle School, Stevenson High School, and Kennedy Elementary School.

Mrs. Robinson is new to the PLTW department in 2025-26. Currently, she is in her 11th year in Livonia Public Schools. She has two little boys and a GoldenDoodle puppy named Romeo! She received her B.A. in Elementary and Early Childhood Education from Madonna University as well as a M.A. in Reading. Prior to becoming a STEM teacher, she was in the classroom for 10 years teaching both 4th grade and 1st grade. She is very excited to be teaching PLTW at Randolph!

Mr. Tedesco has been an LPS teacher for 10 years. He earned his B.A. (2014) from the University of Michigan and his M.A. (2019) from Michigan State University. This is his second year teaching Project Lead the Way. Prior to becoming a PLTW teacher, he taught second grade for seven years at Roosevelt Elementary, and before that, third grade at Garfield Elementary.

Mr. Sproule has been an LPS teacher for over 20 years. He joined the PLTW department in the 2023-24 school year, after being a classroom teacher and teacher of Informational Technology for many years.

Mr. Krueger is in his 28th year as an LPS educator. He earned his B.A. (1997) in Education and M.A. (2001) in K-12 Educational Administration from Michigan State University. Prior to becoming a STEM educator during the 2022-23 pilot year, he had been a classroom teacher for 24 years, having taught students in grades 3-6 at Marshall, Hull, Johnson Upper, and Hayes elementary schools. In 2025-26, Mr. Krueger is continuing in the role of teacher and leader of the PLTW Department.

Mrs. Wichmann has been an LPS teacher for 24 years. She earned her B.A. from Eastern Michigan University and M.A. from Marygrove College. She joined the PLTW department in 2023-24. Prior to then, most of her career was spent teaching Kindergarten and First Grades at Cleveland, Buchanan, Garfield, and Randolph. She taught grades 3-4 at the start of her career at Cooper, Marshall, and Cass.

Mrs. Schlaud has been an LPS teacher for 27 years. She earned her B.A. (1998) from CMU and her M.A. (2001) in the Art of Classroom Teaching at Marygrove College. She joined the PLTW department in 2023-24. Prior to becoming a STEM Teacher for the 2023-24 school year she was inspiring students in grades 2-3 at McKinley, Adams, and, for the last six years, Grant elementaries. She has been enjoying this new adventure in innovation.

Mr. Morrow is in his third year teaching for Livonia Public Schools. He has earned his B.A from Grand Valley State University in Integrated Science, and M.A. from Eastern Michigan University in Educational Leadership. Mr. Morrow has been in the classroom for 13 years as a middle school science teacher, and 3rd and 4th grade teacher.

Mrs. Ritchie has been an LPS teacher for five years. She earned her B.A. in Elementary Education with an Integrated Science Comprehensive at Eastern Michigan University in 2020, and she is currently continuing her education pursuing a M.A. in Educational Leadership at the University of Michigan-Dearborn. Prior to becoming a STEM educator for the 2023-2024 school year she had been a classroom teacher for three years, having taught students in grades 5-6 at Johnson Upper Elementary School.

Ms. Kaufman has been an educator for 30 years and an LPS teacher for 23 years. She earned her B.S. (1995) degree from Eastern Michigan University, her M.A. (2003) degree from Northern Michigan University, and her Ed.S., (2011) degree from Oakland University. Prior to becoming a STEM educator, she was a Curriculum Facilitator for 5 years and a classroom teacher for 23 years, having taught at Webster, Cass, and Buchanan Elementary Schools for LPS, and at DeTour Elementary School in the Upper Peninsula.

Mrs. Bennett is a third year teacher in Livonia Public Schools. She comes to the PLTW department with a background in Early-childhood STEM Education.
Mrs. Burns has been an LPS teacher for 10 years. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Central Michigan University and a Master of Arts in Literacy and Technology from Michigan State University. Prior to joining the PLTW department in 2023-24, Mrs. Burns had taught second and fourth grade at Roosevelt Elementary School.

Mrs. Ramsey has been an LPS teacher for 23 years. She taught sixth grade for 21 years at Buchanan Elementary, Johnson Upper Elementary, and Riley Upper Elementary before joining the PLTW department in 2023-24. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Wayne State University with a major in mathematics and a minor in science. Afterward, she received a Master of Arts degree from University of Michigan-Dearborn.
