We are brokenhearted to share the passing of our beloved Master Carpenter/Mentor/Father and Friend, Ray Tette, after a long and brave battle with cancer. Mr. Tette has been with us from the beginning, and continued to serve long after his own children graduated. He was the heart and soul of our program, and his loss is immeasurable. Calling hours will be Monday, October 16th from 4-7pm at Dougherty Funeral home, and a funeral mass will be held at St. Matthew's Catholic Church at 10:30am, Tuesday, October 17th. Please join us in remembering this treasure of a man, and send prayers to his beautiful family and many, many friends. We love you, Mr. Tette.đź’”

Mission Statement: It is the goal of our program to provide a rich and meaningful theatrical experience to all students involved. We aim to
include students in the entire process - both on and off stage. Teamwork, perseverance, honesty, and dedication are valued above all else. We are committed to providing a quality production that has educational merit as a service to the community.

Value: Studies have shown that participating in theater leads to improved self-confidence, better public speaking skills, the ability to work with an ensemble in cooperative ventures, and the ability to work through consensus and differences to achieve a goal. A theatrical production requires students to follow a timeline, use self-discipline, and to accept feedback. Studying theater can be a great starting point for careers such as teaching, law, and politics, not to mention broadcasting and performing – and the ability to speak confidently in front of a group is a necessity in any career.

To our Patrons & Volunteers: Thank you SO much for your support. Many people do not realize that the musical is self-funded. While the school district provides support through the facilities and staff, the rest of the costs associated with putting on theater productions are funded solely through ticket sales and patron support. This includes all set materials, lumber, paint, orchestral musicians, choreographers, costumes, make-up, props, lighting equipment, and sound equipment. It is thanks to patron support, advertisers, and show attendance that we are able to continue funding this valuable endeavor. In addition, it is thanks to the 100+ parent, student, and staff volunteers that give so willingly of their time and skills so that each show comes to fruition.
