America's Journey: Then, Now, and Tomorrow Art Competition
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION: MAR. 1, 2026
Description: The competition is open to all high school students. Artwork must be the creation a single student. Students may not collaborate on an entry. The contest is open to students in public school, private schools, and home schools. Our office will contact the winning artist. The piece will be displayed at a later event and the student will be recognized for this achievement. Description: The New Jersey Emergency Preparedness Association (NJEPA) honors the State’s exemplary Emergency Managers through a series of scholarships named in their honor. They are intended for a graduating high school senior, or college student presently enrolled in an accredited college or university interested in pursuing a career in the emergency management field of study. This includes emergency management, homeland security, fire suppression, law enforcement, hazardous material, arson investigation, emergency medical services, planning, Health, Public Health, Social Services, etc.- in the public or private sector. $1,000 scholarships are awarded annually. Description: The National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) is made up of 26 inter/national sororities and is the largest advocacy and support organization for the women’s-only sorority experience. Description: The NJ Schoolwomen's Club is a group of women educators engaged in all aspects of of public education in New Jersey. The objectives of the club include promoting the interests of our profession, encouraging capable young women to become educators, and recognizing outstanding women in the field of education. Any young woman who is a senior in a New Jersey high school and is a New Jersey resident is invited to apply. She should be planning to complete a professional program (minimum baccalaureate) leading to a degree and certification in the field of education.
