Important Scheduling Dates

January 15th: Course Preview Day @ LHS.

January 27th: Due date for all courses that have required course forms/assessments are due by 8:00 a.m. 

February 7th: Teacher recommendations are posted in Genesis.

February 10th – March 28th: Individual student scheduling meetings with school counselors. Students are strongly encouraged to enter course requests into Genesis prior to your scheduling meeting. 

March 28th - April 3rd: Course Verification Week. Student and parent deadline to confirm course selections in Genesis and to request any change prior to master schedule construction. 

April 3rd: Course verification deadline. Any change requests made after April 3rd at 3:00 p.m. will not be honored and must be requested during our Schedule Change Window 1.

Mid-June: Course lists for 2025-2026 schedules posted in Genesis. 

June 25th – August 6th: Schedule Change Request Window 1.

August 6th: Deadline to request schedule changes by 3:00 p.m. No change requests will be honored after August 6th at 3:00 p.m. 

Late August: Student schedules posted in Genesis. All student fees/fines must be paid in order to view student schedules. 

**Please note: students cannot make any elective or course change request after Window 1 (August 6th at 3:00 p.m.). 

An elective change request includes any elective course in Core content areas (English, Math Science, Social Studies and World Language), in addition to electives in our Business, Technology, Art, Music and Theatre departments. Additionally, students cannot change from one course to another after Window 1 (the summer schedule change window). 

Example: a student enrolled in Environmental Science cannot request to change into Physics after the conclusion of Window 1.
