The Youth Pastor, in collaboration with the educational team, developed a summer youth experience titled “Level Up.” Level Up Youth Enrichment was designed as a fun, interactive afterschool and summer program that offers educational support alongside enriching activities and experiences. The program provides opportunities to expand academic learning, remediate skills, and engage students in meaningful enrichment opportunities.
While the program was well received by both the church and the surrounding community, it became clear that many families faced financial barriers and struggled to afford the weekly $60 program fee. As a result, several students were allowed to participate at no cost or were sponsored by members of the church. The overwhelming positive response from students and families highlighted the need for greater accessibility and inspired us to pursue a 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant.
Through this grant, Level Up Youth Enrichment is now able to partner with local elementary and middle schools to provide a high-quality afterschool enrichment program free of charge, ensuring that low-income students have access to opportunities they might not otherwise receive.
Level Up Youth Enrichment proudly collaborates with corporate and community partners such as McDonald’s, Bahama Breeze, Starbucks, and Papa John’s, whose generous support helps enhance our youth programs and community initiatives. These partnerships allow us to provide meals, incentives, and enriching experiences that directly benefit the students and families we serve.
We are honored to work alongside Cumberland County Schools, Cumberland County, and the City of Fayetteville to support educational enrichment and community-centered programming. These partnerships strengthen our ability to deliver accessible, high-quality services that promote academic success, safety, and overall well-being for youth and families.
