Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) or Drone Tech is an emerging technology that is seeing applications in a range of fields. Students in the program will get hands-on experience as they explore the many existing and new applications of this technology.  

The three-year Career and Technical Education (CTE) program during Sophomore, Junior, and/or Senior year includes an exploration of topics:

• Robotics

• Computer Aided Design (CAD)

• Geographic Information Systems (GIS)

• Underwater Drones

• Physics

• Business

• Agriculture

• Inspection

• Emergency Services

The courses also include a wide variety of job shadows and field trips to businesses like:

• Engineering Firms

• Agriculture

• Landscape & Wedding Photography

• School Districts
