Matthew Starke earned his A.A.S. in Mechanical Technology from Monroe Community College, his B.S. in Technology Education from SUNY Oswego, and his M.S. in Technology Education from Ball State University. Since the start of his teaching career in 2010, Mr. Starke has taught in two different school districts and over 10 different technology & engineering education courses. Currently, he teaches high school Technology & Engineering Education at Liverpool High School in the Liverpool Central School District. Mr. Starke is passionate about Technology Education because it provides the learning experiences necessary for students to become engineers, technicians, and tradespeople. Outside of the classroom, Mr. Starke is a New York State Master Teacher for Technology & Engineering Education. He also works with the Arctic Warriors, the Liverpool Central School District Robotics Clubs. He is also the Website Manager of the New York State Technology and Engineering Educators Association (NYSTEEA), as well as a member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME). Mr. Starke is a RoboSports Network Producer by being the Editor-in-Chief of an article-based robotics website named The Blue Alliance Blog. In his spare time, he enjoys playing with his children, watching football and baseball, and exploring new places on vacation.
