This past week, we  read the following stories in CKLA Knowledge: Which Came First, The Chicken or the Egg?, The Life Cycle of a Frog, and The Life Cycle of a Butterfly. Ask your child what all three of these life cycles have in common (they all start with an egg). 

In math, we completed the paper copy of our Unit 2 test. On Tuesday, students will enter their answers into their Chromebooks on i-Ready. Anyone who has not finished their i-Ready Winter Diagnostic, will also complete that this week. Our next math lesson is Understanding Three Digit Numbers. The family letter will come home on Wednesday. 

Due to Friday's snow day, we did not have a SEL lesson. We will resume those this week. 

Starting tomorrow, your child will participate in aimswebPlus reading benchmark tests. Please help your child to do their best by helping them to get a good night's sleep. In addition, encourage them to try their best. They have so much to be proud of!
