Lab Time

Students are required to obtain 1200 minutes worth of satisfactory lab minutes in order to sit for the Regents exam. To receive lab minutes you must simply obtain an 80 or higher. If you earn a grade less than an 80, yes a 79.4 is less than an 80, then it is expected that the errors be fixed and the lab resubmitted. Once the errors have been fixed, and the lab is resubmitted along with the original, then lab minutes will be given.

Please Note:

    • The grade that you EARN will stay the same.
    • All lab requirements for a type up will either be given:
      • verbally
      • on the board
      • or in Google Classroom
    • If you are asked to redo a lab, a due date will be assigned. It is the students responsibility to redo the lab and hand it in by the due date. After the due date, the opportunity to fix the lab expires.

So be sure to pay attention! Simply follow the requirements, ask when you don't understand, and you should have no problem achieving an 80 or higher!
