Big Question: How do plants survive in different biomes?
Virtual Destination(s): U.S. Botanic Garden, Amazon Rainforest, Saguaro National Park
Session 1: Students compare and contrast the different environments of rainforests and deserts and explore how plants have adapted to thrive in both biomes.
Session 2: Students take a virtual field trip to the U.S. Botanic Garden to get up close and personal with fascinating plants from all over the world growing in Washington, DC.
