Yes, we absolutely want teachers to book the TLC! Please check the calendar for availability and then reach out to Jenna Machnik to book the space.
The TLC can be used in any capactity needed! The moveable furniture allows us to mold the space to fit teacher needs. We can set up the space for presentations, soctratic seminars, etc.
We are beginning to offer fun activities that tie into curriculum! Depending on availability, Virtual Reality headsets (set of 24) can be borrowed from Russell Street Elementary. The VR can be used to show content related to what you're teaching! We've done VR lessons involving the Anne Frank house, WWII, and plant & animal cells.

We always want to encourage students to come into the TLC. The space is open during school hours, except from 12:30 PM to 1:00 when Elizabeth DiLauro goes on lunch break. Before sending your student, please check the calendar to see if the library is already booked or give the TLC a call.
