The Technology & Learning Center is a dynamic, collaborative learning environment that focuses on student exploration, creativity, and agency. With the generous support of a LELWD grant and the LMS Administration, the middle school library is being transformed into a space full of new learning opportunities!
The space features three zones:
The Quiet Zone: In between stacks of books is a comfortable escape from the chaos of middle school! Full of comfortable chairs, dim lighting, and bean bags, this space fosters a love of reading and a zone for self-regulation.
Collaboration Hub: A space with adaptable furniture designed for group work and sharing ideas! This space is perfect for presenting or group work, enhanced with the SMART board!
Creation & Exploration Station: An area perfect for students to exlore and create! It is an energetic hub with extreme potential. The 3D printer, green screen, Cricut, iPads, and robots are only the beginning of the creativity this space fosters.
