The Technology and Learning Center is a dynamic, collaborative learning environment that focuses on student exploration, creativity, and agency. With the generous support of a LELWD grant and the LMS Administration, the middle school library is being transformed into a space full of new creative and learning opportunities!
The Quiet Zone
The Quiet Zone
Located in the back of the library behind the bookshelves, the quiet zone offers a calming escape from the chaos of middle school complete with comfortable seating and gentle background noise!
The Collaboration Hub
The Collaboration Hub
In the center of the TLC, the collaboration hub offers a space designed for group work and sharing ideas. Enhanced with adaptable furniture and a SMART board, this space is ideal for presentations and cooperation.
The Creation Station
The Creation Station
Opposite the library, the creation station is the perfect area for students to explore and create! Housing a 3D printer, a Cricut, iPads, a Gif-o-Graf, and more, this space fosters student creativity and innovation.

TLC Rules:
Passes: Students should always have a pass when coming into the library. Students also need to check in with Ms. Duato after arriving and before leaving.
Food and Drink: Small snacks and drinks are welcome in the TLC, but are not permitted near the technology. Please be respectful and clean up any food or drinks you bring to the space.
Checking Out: The TLC is equipped with a self checkout station allowing students to check out materials at anytime! Fill out the form on the desk or use the self-checkout computer. If you have any questions please ask Ms. Duato.
Furniture and Equipment: The TLC is home to exciting technological equipment and adaptable, comfortable furniture; including bean bags, wobbly chairs, and a study nook. We ask that students please be respectful of all furniture and equipment so that current and future students can continue enjoy the space.
