Green Screen Projects

Step 1: Film Video and Gather Background Imagery

• • Background photos should be original photos or artwork, or should be taken from CREATIVE COMMONS, or be other fair-use sources.

  • Make sure that all videos and photos are LANDSCAPE/HORIZONTAL, not portrait/vertical (or you will need to crop).

Step 2: Put all media you plan to use on iPad

• Share or upload photos and video files to lhsipad@littletonps.org

  • • • Put files into your class' folder: Folders are named with the teacher's last name and mod letter (example: Perry A Mod, Allison F Mod, etc). Once in this folder, the files can be accessed from ALL the iPads.

      • Keep track of which iPad # you use if you do not upload your videos to drive. (ex.: LIB IPAD 01)

Step 3: Create Video Using Green Screen Programs

• Green Screen by Do Ink (Watch the 90 second tutorial video below or on the iPad App)

  • • Octopus Icon on the iPad

    • Easier to use.

    • Movie can be exported to iMovies to add "extras," such as: titles, credits, sound, fx, etc

• iMovie

  • Slightly more advanced.
