Contact the ADRC when student is age 17 ½ (and not a day before). When you call, indicate that you are the parent of a child with a disability who is at least 17 ½ years old and you want to make a referral for Adult Services.

LSS serves more than 2,000 persons with disabilities providing support at the level a person needs, from a few hours/week to 24 hours per day / 7 days per week, year-round. This is done through community supported living, meaningful daytime supports, or support to learn skills in order to remain independent.
