This class is designed for children aged 6 weeks- 5 years.
A group music class for the whole family!
Our class is designed for all children up to the age of 5 years to experience and create musically! During our fun filled session you and your child will engage with new and familiar songs played and sung on guitar by Miss Hayley. Your child will have the opportunity to improvise with provided percussion instruments in classes while also engaging with instruments used in orchestras such as Clarinets, Violins, Flutes, Trumpets and Drums.
Our classes focus on exploring tempo, rhythm, pitch, volume and directional language through actively engaging with instruments and dance in a fun filled setting.

Music education in early childhood supports children’s development through inspiring creativity, supporting language development, improving cognitive function and more. Music can be used to support routines and transitions, help children to express themselves emotionally and foster social development skills. When listening and engaging with music, neurons are stimulated which engage both the left and right sides of the brain. Through listening and playing instruments, learning to read music and making connections between rhythm and pitch, it supports children’s cognitive function and memory which has lasting effects into adulthood.
