STEM Challenge

During the reading of Hidden Figures we are challenging families to try at least one STEM related activity per week over the course of the project. Complete an activity together, fill out a STEM Reflection form and be entered into a drawing for a STEM Prize basket! Choose any activity from the list online, or from the project packet that went home with students. For each completed STEM activity and completed form (see your librarian for forms), students will receive a raffle ticket! The more activities you complete, the more chances you'll have to win!

The following link is a list of STEM activities for families curated by NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, related to all editions of Hidden Figures. Directions and material lists are provided for each activity, choose the activities that appeal to you and your family! Have fun!
