The integration of ICT is a constantly evolving process. This is largely due to the rapidly changing nature of the technology landscape combined with the diverse requirements of education plus the cost of devices and supporting infrastructure. It is for this reason that St Mary’s Catholic College has contacted suppliers in an effort to negotiate a competitively priced package that includes a computer, extended warranty and Accidental Damage Insurance (ADP). The result has been the establishment of the TRP, which involves a partnership with technology suppliers who are leaders in the education market for technology. This partnership allows for some financial assistance by offering different payment options and ensures our students have access to appropriate and efficient technology that is current and most suited to the mobile student environment. The program also provides peace of mind for families when it comes to maintaining and supporting the computer.
