If you're taken by the literary worlds you visit in novels or interested in how language can create meaning, then you may want to undertake an Extended Essay in Group 1: Studies in Language and Literature. In order to write a Group 1 EE it must be written in the registered language of the EE and it must relate to one of the the categories listed below:
