Hello! I am Stacey Weeks and I am the library director here at Lisle Elementary. I have been working in district 202 for 9 years and this is my fourth year as the library director. I have my undergraduate degree from Elmhurst University and my Master's in Library and Information Science from Dominican University. I grew up in Illinois and come from a family of librarians! Favorite Children's Books: Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery , Fancy Nancy by Jane O'Connor, Fish in a Tree by Lynda Mullaly Hunt , Alone by Megan Freeman, The Princess and the Pony by Kate Beaton, Wonderland by Barbara O'Connor, Guts by Raina Telgemeier, The Summer of June by Jamie Sumner, Becoming Muhamad Ali by James Patterson and Kwami Alexander and The BFG by Roald Dahl.
Hobbies: Watching movies (Especially classic 80's movies!), Walking, Visiting Bookstores (Highly recommend Anderson's in Naperville and Downer's Grove and Harvey's Tales in downtown Geneva), Visiting libraries, and traveling with my family.
Favorite Sports Teams: Chicago Blackhawks, Chicago Cubs, and now that my oldest attends Indiana University, I will be following the Hoosiers for the next 4 years!
Favorite Children's Movies: Ice Age, Beauty and the Beast, Ratatouille, Tangled and Moana.
