Spring Trips!
Beginner Band & Intermediate Band
Students participating in these ensembles are eligible to participate in the SoundPost Music Festival Contest in May. This contest happens at Canton HS on stage where they are judged by 3 expert judges. After our contest performance, we take students to Splash Kingdom Waterpark in Canton as a reward for their hard work and effort over the year. The cost of this trip requires each student to fundraise in order to help (hopefully) reduce the cost of their trip to $0. Advanced Band students do not participate in this trip.
Advanced Band
Advanced Band students are eligible to participate in the Six Flags Field Trip held in April/May. They earn their trip by successfully participating at the UIL Concert & Sight-Reading Contest in April. The cost of this trip requires each student to fundraise in order to help (hopefully) reduce the cost of their trip to $0. We will perform at the Beach Within Reach Festival on Saturday, April 25th followed by a trip to Hurricane Harbor (Six Flags) in Arlington, TX.
Fall Fundraiser - Cookie Dough (information below not updated for 2019-20 school year)
We have just kicked-off our annual fundraising campaign, and we need your support. We've partnered with Cherrydale to create something really big and to raise the money we need. This year's campaign is called Be The Change, and Radio Disney star Erin Bowman wrote an exclusive song for us called "Be the Change"! Watch the video below to learn more about the campaign and how to register. Be sure to watch the video with your kids to find out how our school can win a concert with Erin Bowman, and have a chance to star in her "Be The Change" music video!

Cherrydale's new e-commerce site has an amazing product selection that will ensure that you and your supporters will love the products offered for sale. These products include gourmet foods, designer jewelry, stylish home decor, and more from great brands such as Tervis Tumblers, WoodWick Candles, Otis Spunkmeyer Cookies, and Cherrydale Chocolates. With your participation, you will be a hero for our school.

Order forms and payments are due back to the band hall on Monday, Oct. 16. We should have delivery of these items to you before Thanksgiving (will update once I receive confirmation from Cherrydale).
Spring Fundraiser - Coupon Books
Each spring, we ask students to sell Lobo Band coupon books. These coupon books are packed with discount coupons from businesses in the Longview area that support and sponsor our band. Coupon books are $10 each and students are asked to sell at least 5 books each to help offset their costs for the end-of-year trips we take in May.
