PSAT: The Road to College and The National Merit Scholar Recognition Begins Here................
The PSAT/Scholarship Qualifying Test is designed for juniors to measure: what they are learning in school, if they are on track, and to open doors for opportunities to prepare and pay for college. However, LHS encourages college bound freshman and sophomores to test as well. Taking the PSAT early, gives students an opportunity to learn their academic strengths and weaknesses and remediate before taking the PSAT as a junior when the scores count. PSAT testing occurs during October of every year. This is the first year that the PSAT will be all digital. See Mrs. Ray in the College and Career Center for additional information.
Students will receive updates about the PSAT and information regarding practice and boot camps to get prepared. All underclassmen should join the Class of 2026, Class of 2027, Class of 2028 or Class of 2029 Remind group to receive important information regarding testing.
