As a Doctor of Education and the daughter of Sierra Leonean heritage, Dr. Bangura founded Lion Mountain Academy to reclaim the "Academic Middle." Her mission is to bridge the logic gap for 6th-grade scholars who are capable of excellence but often lose their advocacy in traditional systems. Drawing on the legacy of her parents—who viewed education as the ultimate tool for intellectual and professional advancement—Dr. Bangura leads LMA with an uncompromising focus on "Productive Struggle." By teaching scholars to summit their own internal mountains through Socratic inquiry and economic logic, LMA prepares them not just for school, but for a life of independent leadership.
