This fully asynchronous online course is designed for community college students with college-level reading and writing skills. It introduces the development and application of foundational sociological concepts and perspectives concerning human groups. Topics include socialization, culture, organization, stratification, and societies. This course also engages in research methodology.Â
Included in this course are a syllabus, instructor guide, course map, weekly assignments, and final exam questions. The course readings include an open textbook for each topic.
