Important Update!
This is an urgent update regarding our video platform. As of July 5, 2025, Classroom Support/Media has permanently shut down the Panopto server. This means that all old Zoom recordings and video files previously stored on Panopto are no longer directly accessible.
We understand the importance of your video content. We have successfully downloaded all videos from Panopto to a temporary server, and these files will be migrated to Kaltura over the next few months.
To ensure continued access to your video content and to utilize video within Canvas, everyone who records on Zoom, had videos on Panopto, or uses video in Canvas needs to create a Kaltura account. We strongly recommend all staff create an account.
Here are two simple ways to create your Kaltura account:
Option 1: Through My LB (Recommended)
Go to My LB on the LBCC website and log in through SSO.
From the apps page, select Kaltura.
This will take you to mediaspace.linnbenton.edu, and your account will be automatically created.
We recommend bookmarking this page as it's the LBCC home page for Kaltura.
Option 2: Direct Access
Type mediaspace.linnbenton.edu into your web browser.
In the upper right corner of the page, click the person icon ().
From the dropdown menu, select Login and complete the SSO process.
Your account will now be created.
If you use Canvas, you'll need to sync your Canvas and Kaltura accounts:
Log in to your Canvas account.
On the left side of your dashboard, locate and select the "My Media Linn-Benton CC" icon. This links directly to your Kaltura account and your My Media folder.
Canvas may prompt you to sync your accounts; please agree to this.
Once synced, any videos in your Kaltura account will appear here, ready for use in Canvas.
If you had videos on Panopto that you need transferred to Kaltura, you'll need to schedule an appointment with Ken Long for assistance.
Please book your appointment using the link: Book an Appointment with Ken
