This fully asynchronous online course on social change takes place over a 10 week term. Originally taught at Linn-Benton Community College, the course focuses on the sociological study of the dynamic organizational nature of society through analysis of social change and major social institutions such as family, education, religion, the economy and political systems.
Included in this course are an instructor guide, a course map, and weekly activities including assignments and discussion prompts. The course readings include an open textbook for each topic.
