This was an exciting year with lots of fun events!
This event typically runs from when we return to school from winter break until the end of February. During these weeks, the students are tasked with collecting donations from family and friends for the American Heart Association. All monies collected will go towards research to end children's heart disease as well as help families who can not afford the healthcare they need. All students who submit donations will receive various gifts dependent on how much they raise. Gifts will arrive around Spring Break time. Also during Kids Heart Challenge, the students will participate in a dress down day to were Red for Heart Day and have the opportunity to purchase candy grams for their friends, teachers and family. Parent/guardians may also purchase candy grams for their own children to receive in school.

Field day was held on Friday May 24, 2024. The theme for this year was COLORS. Fourth grade wore RED, third grade wore ORANGE, second grade wore YELLOW, first grade word GREEN and kindergarten word BLUE. The day is dedicated to FUN! The students travel around to various stations performing games and activities. For field day, we will ask for parent/guardian volunteers. Please know the volunteers will only be approved if: they are an approved parent/guardian in realtime AND complete the volunteer form when sent home. The volunteers will not travel around with their student's class, but run the stations for the morning. This event is also a CLOSED EVENT in that you may not be on campus unless you are an approved volunteer.
Field Day 2024 was AMAZING!!!! The weather was sunny and not too hot. So many volunteers came to help run the 10 stations. Each grade level represented their colors for the day. We could not have asked for a better day!
We are starting this school year MASK FREE!!!! Covid-19 is still lingering, but the quarantine restrictions are relaxed. Due to this, we are able to bring back two exciting events: Kids Heart Challenge and Field day!!!
