These are the most widely used and popular shots/framings/angles used in every Movie, TV Show, Cartoon and Broadcasted Sports entertainment. The terms shots/framings/angles are often used interchangeably, mean they all mean the same thing. For example, if i tell you to adjust your shot it means adjust your framing as well as adjust your angle.
A shot that reveals the setting where the action will take place (usually a long shot and usually the first shot in a scene).
It sometimes is a closeup of a store's sign or a room number to a classroom.
This shot is a Shot that shows where all the subjects are in a scene in relation to each other. Use this shot to film the whole scene from start to finish. This will allow the editor to cut back and forth between this shot and the other shots.
Contains the entire subject or object you are shooting. A long shot of a person includes the person from head to toe and shows most of the surroundings.
There are two types of medium shots:
1: One Includes the body from the waist area and up and shows most of the surroundings.
2: The second Includes the body from the knee area and up and shows most of the surroundings.
Includes the head to just below the chest area and shows some of the surroundings but the subject is the most important part of the shot. This shot is used in yearbook photos.
Includes the head and neck and shows some of the surroundings.
This shot is taken of a subject or object at close range intended to show greater detail to the viewer
The head and shoulder of a person is in the foreground, and the subject of the shot is in the background.
