My Background

Hello, my name is Shannon Patrick and I am the new middle school reading specialist at Lindenwold Middle School. I live with my husband, Marcus, and our two children, Noah(age 18) and Maya (age 14), plus our two dogs, Beckham and Kobe. My family moved back to my husband's hometown of Voorhees, NJ, four years ago from northwest Indiana (about 30 minutes from Chicago). 

This is my 18th year teaching. I have formerly taught as a 6th-grade English teacher, Title I reading and math teacher,  elementary reading specialist, and MTSS Data Coach in Indiana, Illinois, and New Jersey. Two years ago, I was honored to be chosen as Educational Support Staff of the Year in my previous district.

I have a Master’s in Elementary Education, School Administration, and Literacy, Culture, and Language Education.
