Mathematics Teacher
Lindenwold High School

Hello and thank you for visiting my website.  I am excited to share a little about myself and provide you with some valuable information for the school year.   This is my 11th year as a math teacher, and also my 11th year at Lindenwold High School.

Mathematics has always been a love of mine, but it took the loss of a job later in life to prompt me to go back to college and earn my degree in Mathematics.  I love being in the classroom with our LHS students, helping them embrace their natural curiosity and succeed in Math class.

This year I will be teaching two Geometry classes, two Honors Geometry classes, and also helping our English Language Learners with their math skills.  One of the things we will be stressing in class this year is the "why" aspect of Geometry.  We will talk about this on Day 1 and continue throughout the year.  Geometry is used all around us every day; when we open our minds and investigate our environment we begin to understand the impact and necessity of math in our everyday lives.  We will be emphasizing this with as much hands on learning as possible.

Please check out the other pages on this site and feel free to contact me at any time with questions or concerns.  In the meantime I hope you enjoy a few photos of me with my fellow math teachers from past years!
