Social Studies III

(The Modern World: 1945-present)

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Social Studies III is a survey course designed to educate teach students to think critically about the issues that have confronted and influenced the United States and the world from 1945 to present day. Students will examine various schools of American and global history, including, but not limited to, its political, social, economic, diplomatic, constitutional, and technological dimensions. Beyond imparting factual knowledge, the course integrates an assessment of primary and secondary sources and helps students build their analytical skills.
