About Me

My name is Logan Scisco and this will be my ninth year of teaching. Prior to coming to Lincoln County, I taught at Grant County High School (2008-2009), Danville High School (2011-2013, 2015-2018), and Beechwood High School (2018-2020). My goal as an educator is to help students become better critical thinkers about the world and to try to find their place in it through an exploration of primary and secondary sources.

My reading and research interests include American presidential history, American electoral history, the history of the American space program, and the history of professional wrestling. I have authored four books, including a textbook on extemporaneous speaking - Elements of Style for the Modern Extemper - for the national speech and debate community.
