The Miss North Lincoln Pageant was created by students and parents to raise funds for mental health services and student scholarships.
Students in our Distributive Education Clubs of America collected hundreds of food items for East Lincoln Christian Ministries as part of a project this past school year.
Our football alumni engage in community outreach as seen here with our County Commissioner and Sheriff as part of the Border Bash game.
The Community Health Club founded by one of our students collected items to support patients undergoing chemotherapy.
Dunkin' on Cystic Fibrosis Knight was created by one of our students to raise funds for CF research
Our chorus students put on a free concert at the Biltmore House during the candle light tours.
Born out of students' requests to be more active in serving the local community, the Anchor Down Project at River Bend Middle School began in the spring of 2018. It continued this school year and our students performed over 2,000 hours of service in eastern Catawba County.

Various student groups spent time reading to younger students in our feeder elementary schools
Student volunteers assisted the Riverside Lodge's Ham Day annual fundraiser Ratings and comments shared to benefit local orphanages
The City of Claremont partnered with us to conduct a city-wide Litter Sweep this spring
7th Grade Sea Dawgs students volunteered all day one Saturday at Rise Against Hunger
8th Grade Science students raised 77 rainbow trout from eggs and released them in collaboration with the local Trout Unlimited chapter
Students volunteered after school one afternoon to clean the beaches and boat ramps at the local NC Wildlife Boat Access on Lake Lookout
The Student Government Association created the "Chemo-Kit" initiative in partnership with CVMC. Students brought materials for patients to enjoy (snacks, reading material, cards of encouragement, etc.) while receiving infusions
On three different days, groups of student volunteers spread mulch on all of the flower beds around the school
Students form our SWAG (Students With Ambitious Goals) Club help plan, promote, and participate in the Horace Mann Trivia Night to benefit the Catawba County Education Foundation
