Did you ever want to be a scientist? How about a citizen scientist? What is that and why should you care?
Have you ever heard of crowdsourcing? Well citizen science is just that, taking scientific data collection and having the masses help to collect, organize, and analyze that data. You are a part of the scientific research process when you participate. By getting involved you learn and grow and become a better global citizen.
In these next two months all of our Star Valley Branch Library Citizen Science features will have something to do with Oceans as a part of our summer reading theme Oceans of Possibilities.
