Both in-person and remote participation will be supported for this meeting.
The Multipurpose Room will be the main location for this meeting.
All day beverages and lunch will be available inside the meeting room.
The majority of our Systems Science and Engineering team is based in the Operations Support Building (OSB). This facility also features a multi-purpose room, conference room, library, and an outdoor dining area.
Please note that the building is secured--doors remain locked.
Attendees will be let in and must be escorted to restricted areas.
LExC features a 5,000 square foot exhibit hall, home to exciting interactive exhibits focused on gravitational waves and related sciences, as well as hardware reflecting the history of gravitational wave astronomy.
The LIGO Exploration Center is open to the public Tuesday to Friday, 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
This building also features two classrooms and an outdoor dining area.
The Head of the LHO Laboratory, Business Office staff, and a mix of Systems Science and Computing team members are located in the Laboratory Support Building (LSB). This building includes an auditorium, conference room, as well as indoor and outdoor dining areas.
A rental car is required to get to the site. Carpooling is highly recommended.
Google Maps recognizes "LIGO Hanford Observatory" as a search term.
You can reach LIGO Hanford Observatory from Richland in two ways: Traveling northwest on Rte. 240 then north on Rte. 10 at the roundabout, or taking Stevens Dr./Rte. 4, then south on Rte. 10 before the Wye Barricade.
Plan to park in the LEXC parking lot or in the LSB staff parking lot and walk to the OSB.
Keycards to access the site will be provided at the meeting first thing Tuesday morning.
